Post subject: Why do we need to speak of one group vs.another???

OI VEY...So much sound a fury about this "rivalry."
Funny....NO OTHER GROUP has EVER had a post like this new one..but
then..there are no Marks on the other groups to do what he and a few
people have done from the start.....
Remember, an unmoderated group PERMITS people to violate
civility..where else would you get an Adolf, for example??He would be
banned immediately.
Ed would never have needed to form his own group had rmo not
become the infmous "scourge' of the internet./.Yes, I was a part of
it..I never denied this....Why did so many people leave RMO???Must be
some reason.....
I know EXACTLY how it started....I know that my IOPERA POSTS were
ridiculed and disrespected from the start...it started with that "cub
reporter" stuff..and then we had the crabs who could not accept the
opinions of others as we do elsewhere....
The basic difference between rmo and ed's group is the exact same
difference between rmo and the REST OF THE INTERNET...and in many
cases we moderate ourselves...try reading Hispaopera (if you read
castellano) and there are LOADS of posts..and many diferences of
opinion..but NO NASTINESS!!!!
Recently..if you notice..i tried to keep to opera..only to be
greeted by *********'s and/or total changes of subject by mark.....NO
ONE ELSE anywhere else does this stuff...so I will enjoy writing on
Ed's group without worrying about the few..and it is VERY few people
who cannot help themselves....
A moderator is needed when things get out of control....and so Ed does
a great job in seeing to it that no one (even including me) makes life
miserable for others.
Now we arrive at the "instigation' thing...Of COURSE, I wrote all
those crazy things...yes....they could be construed as
instigatory...and believe me..my friends thought I was a jerk to stay
on rmo...I guess I had faith that there are so many nice people here
(most of whom are lurkers..and I wish more would post) and that THEY
would do the normal thing and stay on my opera threads..
Well.that is my take...and I hope we can begin to shed the reputation
we have had..and i will surely help to do that....Charlie

Since you're the one most often guilty, you tell me.

On second thought, don't bother.

It would also be interesting to learn why his primary email account
was banned on all Google Groups, Ed's included.

Why does anyone owe you an explanation of anything?

The only one here who is predictable is you, Bannedelman. You really
don't understand why your account was banned? You are dumber than
anyone thought before.

Sorry, REG, but I'm not in the mood to play "Word Weasel" today. But
I'm sure that Lennie will be happy to oblige.

Sorry, kazzie, but, really - I justed shined my shoes and don't wish
to defile them on your funkily rotting carcass.

I'm sure even you can appreciate that.

Yes, yes, but don't forget that you're a Bilious Boor, as well.

We'll all be leaving, if not believing, when you, Stinkie, belatedly
favor us with your "Madame Boll-Cio San" performance: I'll dutifully
provide the Ginsu)® Ceremonial Blade self-eviscerate with - for
authenticity's sake, of course.

Sincerely,
LT - For Authenticity's Sake.

PS - Very Important Note:

'ljo' must also have the proper kimono for its carcass during its
belated self-eviscerating frolics. However, it'll have to buy that on
its own.
