Post subject: looking for dedicated opera-related-programms viewers.

Hi,

Anyone ?
I am looking for someone in the United States, who HAS actually watched Information report-programmes on Opera (this could be on any programme) specifically in the Eighties. (Dont say its too long ago, cause some people have been known to have this kind of memory...).

My (late) dad came home one day from his teaching at an opera studio here in Munich, Germany and told me "There was a small little cable station from the U.S. here , doing a little report on us." I am still in touch with some of these performers. and I would like to if possible locate this station, and see if this footage might still be in existence. The conductor at the time said, "I dont know any names, but if the guy from the station stood before me, I would definitely recognize him." The whole thing must have been around early to mid eighties..... I seem to remember.
thanks, for all of you looking into this needle in the haystack.
(oh, um, my dad did add that he had the feeling they were not well informed, to that extent.....oh well, i am still interested).
Any idea which cable station this could have been.
