| Couldn't help but see that there were only a handful of posts today on
Ed's group. On the other hand, the was an avalanche of posts on RMO
from ED's major posters. They were mostly not nice posts. What's up
with that?
Bannedelman, Tillman and donpaolo were all here making trouble. Ed's
group must be too tame for these posters.

At least our group is civil, Mark. No one would use language like LDM
used a couple of times today, because they would be removed from the
group if they did. LJO used the same language. No group needs this
kind of rudeness, IMHO.
Glad you're reading the "other" group. Perhaps some of it will rub
off!!

Do you notice any difference in the way people who belong to both your
group and rmo comport themselves in the two?

Yes. I notice a big difference. As I said, all are civil on my group.
That is not always, or even usually, the case here.

If you enjoy reading foul language, Bill, I would think there are many
more and different you could visit that would give you a real earful
of this peculiar kind of enjoyment. Speaking for myself, it is a
horror.

That's because on RMO, they're not under the thumb of Schoolmarm Ed
Rosen.

So you disdain civility? Believe me, I'm so "schoolmarm." But I do
expect and receive a civil post from all, as Elisabetta must on her
Opera Parlour. No problem,Bill. Remain here and be subjected to the
lack of civility that you seemingly are very fond of.

Not at all, Ed. You're among those tossing F-bombs around RMO, not
me.

But only, apparently, on your own forum. If you want to use gutter
language, you come over to RMO, along with the rest of your merry
band.
What a hypocrite.

No offense to your group, as it includes a lot of people I like a
great deal, you included of course.
But I'd rather see people for what they are than what they are forced
to to be when they are under the thumb of a moderator. Believe it or
not, there actually are people who can behave themselves reasonably
well without one.

"My attorny" is my friend, also. I have no right or reason to call him
on it here. And after yesterday's outblast from you, you are no one to
talk about foul language. On my group, nobody uses foul language. We're
not prudes- just polite.

At the risk of repeating myself, there's a lot more to civility than
the mere absence of profanity.
