He is for me, anyway.
I've really enjoyed watching and listening to the Youtube clips. From
his appearance on the Italian equivalent to "BEAT THE CLOCK" (I like
the presenter's "pronti....VIA!!!!!") to the Schubert Stanchen in
Spanish to the clips of Der Obersteiger and Die Land des Lachelns, he
comes across as a very charming and personable performer.

Amen to that!
He actually outdid Callas, charmwise as well as to singing, in the
famed concert in which she seemed the main intended focus.
She likely didn't take too well to that.... |
