I know you guys get a lot of grief on this board from various people.
However, I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your podcasts and
more recently, the videos you two have made available to us. I have
heard very few of the excerpts on the podcasts and have previously seen
even fewer of the videos. They are just wonderful. This is a rare
opportunity for me to hear and see video of singers who retired or died
before I became an opera fan.

Thank you so much for the pleasure you have brought me and keep up the
good work.

Lee

My dear Lee,
On behalf of Ed and James Jorden, my mentor, and myself..i thnk
you sincerely.

We really do not "get grief" here..because we rise above the level...We
are aware that the reputation of RMO is well-known..and there use to be
a lot of people here who did not dissolve into the
snakepit....Personally, i just use this as a mere diversion..since i
have such nice things to do..especially trying to spread my love for
music to nice people..older and younger...
The number of "hits' on both our podcasts and our Youtube videos is
amazing....Just in a few hours, I already see a large number of
downloads on some of my videos..Ed and I have huge collections..and we
love to spread them around....for our love and our passion...and we do
not give a fig (or a better word) if anyone is jealous.

Many tahanks...Charlie

I feel the same way the podcasts, Lee. Obviously, I'm not as smart or
well-educated as lots of people on the group, because I've heard a lot of
things, and learned a lot of things, I didn't know.

And the YouTubes, if you're not tuning in, should not be missed - they are a
complete bonus for me.

The Fourth Reich? Undoubtedly somebody will come up with a reasonable
explanation for your momentary lapse of good taste.

You could start and lead it, Stinky - but for your inability to count
that high.

What's that, compared with your lifetime lapse of *any* taste!
